Suggestions for Comforters and Quilts:
General Comforter and Quilt Sizes: Twin 72”x90”, Full 81”x90”, Queen 90”x108”, King 105” to 120” square.

Comforters: Larger full-sized comforters (approx. 90x108) that are color-coordinated in cotton, flannel and other washable attractive fabrics are preferred and do well at most sales. Baby crib comforters also should be soft, durable, washable and color-coordinated. Smaller lap robe comforters that are odd sizes (usually long and narrow), mixed scrap comforters that are not color coordinated, and any type of polyester double knit does not sell well. Hand knotted comforters appear more attractive and hold up better after washing when crochet cotton is used rather than yarn. Questions on quilts or comforters, call Yvonne Devers (814) 479-4827 or Jane Benson (301) 895-5893.

Quilts: Larger quilts (queen and king) are in demand due to the larger beds and deeper matresses. Can you add a border to your full size patter to make it bigger?

Please submit all Comforters, Quilts and Wall Hangings by May 30, 2008 to give us time to promote your item to their best advantage.

  • Cakes
  • Sweet rolls
  • More Diabetic items are needed

Use your imagination and package attractively with a pretty ribbon or label. An example would be preparing a funnel cake mix in a brown lunch bag, add a colorful face and a funnel on top for a hat.
